Recipes Made just for you and the family....

SPEEDY CHILI

1 lb Ground Beef                                      1/2 Onion (Chopped)
1/4 Bell pepper (Chopped)                    1 lg can Whole Tomato's
2 8oz cans Tomato sauce                      1 16oz Can Light Red Kidney Beans
1/2 tsp. Salt                                              1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp Chili powder or to taste

Cook beef and drain, Saute onions and bell peppers add beef , tomato sauce and tomatos , Cook on med heat for about 5 mins then add beans , salt and pepper. The add chili powder. Be sure to taste it if it needs more chili power it's okay to add as much as you like to your taste. Cook on low heat for 20 mins. For extra juice add 1/2 cup of water.

Makes enough to feed 6 to 7 people. Can also be served over rice and crackers.....
Enjoy on a cold day...



CARMEL PECAN ROLL

1 to 2 Pillsbury Biscuits ( Grands jr's work great)
only use the plain kind  no butter.          
1 to 2 cups brown sugar
pecans ( chopped)
1 stick of butter
1 to 2 tsp vanilla ( use it to your taste)

Place pecans in bottom of muffin tins.
Make Caramel as follows : Melt butter in large skillet , add brown sugar ( can also use spenda brown sugar) when sugar is melted an smooth.
Pour over pecans Top with uncook biscuits .
Bake in oven at 350 degrees until golden brown. Spoon out each and serve

They are really good at breakfast but try them all so with a little ice cream on the side for dessert.


MACARONI AND CHEESE

1 bx mac & cheese ( i use kraft)                      2 tbsp butter
1 lb ground beef                                                 1 can of cream of chicken 
1/2 cup of milk                                                   2 cups shredded cheese

Prepare mac & cheese as directed. Brown meat and drain. Melt butter , soup and milk in sauce pan. Grease a baking dish. Layer mac & cheese and meat. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 dgrees for 25 minutes. Makes serving of 6.



ITALIAN MEATBALL AND SAUCE

1 jar prego meat flavor sauce                            1/2 bread crumbs
2lb ground beef                                                     1 tbsp parley flakes
1 tbsp  oregano                                                      1 tsp garlic salt
2 tbsp parmesan cheese

Mix ground beefand all other ingredients together. Take 1 tsp and use to dip out amount for the meat ball. form into a ball. Fry until almost done. Place in crock pot for 2 1/2 hours on med heat. Sever over noodles or on sub buns


YELLOW SQUASH DRESSING

2 cups squash cooked and drain                   2 cups crumble cornbread
1 can cream of chicken                                    1 smell onion
1/2 cups melted butter                                    3 eggs beaten
sage or poultry seasoning to taste

Preheat oven to 350 dgrees, Combine all ingredients and pour into pan ( be sure to grease your pan) Bake for 40 to 45 minutes and golden brown on top. Makes about 6 servings. and also freezes well.
