Well I just made my final shopping trip before my husband comes home from Afghanistan. I wanted to make sure I had everything I needed to make his favorite meals for awhile, here's what I got:
22 cans of soup( different flavors)
9 bottles of ketchup
4 jars of mayo
7 packs ground chuck
5 multi packs of Chicken
6 pks of pork chops
2 packs of ribs
2 roast
4 t-bone steak
2 jugs fruit punch
2- gallon jugs sunny-d
Lettuce
4 tomatoes
2 bags celery
6 bell peppers
1 gallon milk
8 boxes Hamburger Helper
10 boxes Betty crocker butter mash potatoes
10lb bag potatoes
4 bags Frozen hash browns
2 boxes of rice.
4 dozen eggs
10 bottles of mustard
2- gallon jug cooking old
2- gallon jugs of Vinegar
1 bag of grits
4 pks of Bacon
5lb bag of Frozen peas
5lb bag of Frozen Butter beans
1 bag of oranges
1 bag of apples
2 container of strawberry's
2 bags of grapes
My bill came to $243.79 after comp. pricing everything, in store coupons ,and the coupon I had. The total after everything was taken off. It came to $24.46 That was almost the price of 2 of the T-bone steaks I bought. See it's easy to save it all starts with coupons.
