Legal Coupon Buying

Recently I listed different types of web site where you may purchase coupon. It is legal to buy them as long as they  are NOT! charging for the coupons them selves. The few Companies I use are members of the BBB. An YES! they charge but the charges is strictly the cost of shipping and Handling. The most they charge is .02 to 10 cents per 20 to 30 coupons to cover the cost of sending them to you. I have checked these site out and they are legal.
So Don't worry couponing world get your coupons where you can. It's hard for alot of people out to get them or get more then one coupon pre product. So why would you try to prevent others from enjoying saving money.
To my Blogger Followers and all you others in the internet world BE CAREFUL!!!! because ignorance can be catching...

HAPPY COUPONING!!!!!

WAYS TO SAVE MONEY....

WHEN YOUR OUT SHOPPING:

*Create a meal plan, if you shop weekly, bi-weekly or monthly that's how many meals should be on your list. Always do this first before you go to the store. I have my own spread sheet I created. Make sure you stick to your list if it's not on the list you don't need it.

*Make sure you have your calculator handy, this will show you if your getting a good deal or not. Sometimes it may be better to purchase a larger size then the smaller ones.

*Shop the sales and match up with your coupons, always checked your coupon on name brand item you may still come out cheaper buying the store brand.

* Hit the clearance isle ladies. You know how we love great deals and you can find some great stuff.

*Never forget your coupons, always treat them like your children, gentle and never forget them when you go out!

* Do not ever buy convenience foods, Get recipes and make them from scratch and the kiddo's will have fun helping you.

* Always take cash with you, this way you know you have a limited amount of money to spend. NO IMPULSE BUYING!!!! (in my case I never take my husband with me) lol.....

WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR KIDS:

* Make your own baby food.

* Call your friends ( that you really trust) and form a babysitting co-op. This way you can sit for free and you also get a night out with the hubby.

* Instead buying play dough make your own, there are great web sites that offer alot of recipes for this and many more.

* Allow your children to help in the kitchen and around the house, and remember ( always make it fun for them).

IN THE HOME (COOKING AND CLEANING):

*Always be sure your using the correct amount of laundry detergent.

* Do not buy those expensive household cleaners, The cheaper ones work just as good, Also you can make your own much cheaper. You can find them in these stores: Dollar General, The dollar tree, Apple's Dollar store, Fred's and even Walmart has a cheaper line of cleaners now.

*Cut your Fabric softener sheets in half.

*Also you can use white vinegar in the place of fabric softener, it will also remove stains.

*Shut the dishwasher, Hand wash your dishes, If you have to use it make your own dish washing soap.

* Use white vinegar for many things in your home, Cleaning cooking, Freshen your home and many many more. (Will be posting uses later)

* Before going on a trip whether it long or short, Pack up snacks and drinks .This way you won't have to stop and make impulse purchases.

WHAT TO DO WITH ALL YOUR UNWANTED NEWSPAPERS:

*Clean up spills.

* Your comics can be used as wrapping paper. Dress it up with bright colored ribbons.

*Use to clean your windows.

I will be posted more tips later . The most important thing is to have fun with
it. When you stop making this fun then you will stop working at it.

Seasoning Tips for Beginner's

SALT:

Salt is undoubtedly the world's all time favorite seasoning. However remember you can always add more salt , but you can not remove it once it's cooked in. So taste, taste, taste...

SALT SUBSTITUTES:

If you are concerned about salt there are several natural foods you may use in the place of salt. Lemon juice, lime juice, vinegar, or dill weed. Use dill weed and lemon juice on fish instead of salt.

SWEET AND SOUR:

The Chinese learned long ago the secret of combining sweet and sour. You can add a teaspoon of sugar to, green, collards, spinach, mustard) In chili add a teaspoon of honey.

EXPERIMENT WITH THE UNUSUAL:

Unsweetened cocoa powder, instant coffee, cola, and beer / wine in small amounts impact flavors. Don't be afraid to experiments. Most of these ingredients add a subtle but distinctive taste to chili, soups, pasta, and Mexican dishes.

It can be hard to stick to a budget, So make it easy....

It can be over whelming trying to figure out where to start. I know it was for my husband and I. But trust me when I say it's worth it. .

First make it sample, Make a log book of all you expenses. You will need a binder, plastic page covers, log sheets and yellow envelopes. First make your log pages, I have mine made in different categories.
Page 1: is for monthly expenses ( that is a list of every category with the amount spent and amount under or over budget totals for the month). I also list on that page our savings account.
Page 2: should list all the bills you pay for the month, with total at the bottom with under or over budget amount.
Page 3: should list, Medical exp, medication amount, Postal, Storage, etc. also with the totals at the bottom.
Page 4: should list entrainment, Pets medical, pet food , groceries, etc.
Page5: is for charities and other expenses such as auto repairs, and other misc items.
Page6: is for your yearly amount this will list all the unexpected expenses. Such as appliances, Auto repairs for the year , bills and so on. You will also add your yearly pay amount ( what you bring home) and then add the amount you spent for the year. This way you will know what is being spent in you home for the year.

Once you have your log sheets done take your binder and plastic page covers. Place each log page in blinder with the page cover behind it. Once you are done you can start budgeting . The page cover and envelopes are for all your receipts Be sure to put them all in the pocket. At the end of the month place all receipts in the yellow envelope and write the month and the year. Take your budgets sheets out of the binder that you used for the month and staple them to the envelopes and put in a monthly file. this way if you have to go back and referr to a receipt it's rite there in your envelope. Once you learn how to do this it is much easier then you think.

If you have any questions just leave a comment and I will answer you back. Happy budgeting.......

Here's my shopping list..

You will see on my list that I break it up in categories , Ref/freezer, can/box and so on. Then I put a Q by each item. ( Q are short for coupons). I list the item I'm buying, a price sign , how many to buy and how much I will save on the product with my coupon. The price sign is so I can write down how much the product is. This way I can keep up much easier with how much I'm spending. I don't know about you but I have lost the amount I've been calculating more then once. So I write everything down.
Here's my shopping list for the next 4 months.
This is an easy way to keep up with everything.
Hope it helps in making things easy for you also.....
I will be going to 2 different store one comp pricing and the other has double coupon everyday.

How to save money on your water and power bills..

This are some ways you can save money on your monthly bills.

1. The one thing I have started doing in my home is when I'm not using my washing machine or dryer I cut the breaker off to them.

2. Also when I'm not using my electric stove I cut the breaker off.

3. Unplug all small appliances when not in use.

4. Also when you are going somewhere whether it's  on vacation or just out of town for a few days cut the breakers off to very thing you can in your home.  Including your hot water heater.

5. Take showers as much as you can this uses less water and cuts down on power for the hot water .

6. Change all your Reg. light bulbs to one that use less power.

7. Put a piece of brick or a rock that is the size of your hand in the back of your toilet this way you will use half the water and it will save on your water bill.

8. When doing dish only cut your water after you have a sink full to rinse this also will cut down on your water bill.

9. Always keep you air set at 70 to 75 degrees and you heat the same. And if your going to be gone for a period of time cut it off.

My husband and I have been doing this for months and we only pay the minimum on our water which $21.00 and our power bill ranges from $50.00 to $70.00. Before I started this the water would run around $40.00 and the power was running over $150.00. This has really helped our budget.
I'm sure if you try this you will see a difference to. Good luck an may you save alot of money.

HELPFUL HINTS IN THE KITCHEN....

These are just some hints that may help you in the kitchen.....

1. Seeds and nuts, both shelled and unshelled, keep best and longest when stored in the freezer Nuts in the shell crack easily when frozen. Nuts and seeds can be used directly from the freezer.

2. Always chill juices and sodas before adding to beverage recipes.

3. Bananas that have darkened can be peeled and frozen in a container until it's time to bake bread or cake.

4. When baking bread , a small dish of water in the oven will help to keep the crust from getting too hard or brown.

5. When in doubt always sift flour before measuring.

6. If your biscuits are dry, it could be from too much handling or your oven temperature may not have been hot enough.

7. To make bread crumbs, toast the heels of bread and put in blender or food processor. Store in container .

8.The freshness of eggs can be tested by placing them in a bowl of cold water if they float do not use them.

9. Don't freeze spaghetti, Macaroni or noodle mixture. These tend to lose texture and become to soft when reheated.

10. Instant potatoes are a good thickener for stews.

11. To keep oil from splattering sprinkle a little salt or flour in the pan before frying.

12. Meat may slice more thinly if it is partially frozen.

13. Lemon juice rubbed on fish before cooking will enhance the flavor and help maintain a good color.

14. When frying meat sprinkle paprika over it. and it will turn golden brown.

Coupon clipping service and tips to get started...

I have found it hard sometimes to get my hands on great coupons. So I found a great service on line  go to www. couponcarryout.com It's a great site for information about couponing and they clip you coupons for you . They do charge a handling fee but I ordered almost 500 coupons the other day and it only cost me $12.95. These coupons will save me 100.00's of dollars for just 12.95. There are also sites that if you download the coupon software you can print them off for free.

Shopping on a budget:

1. first set a goal for yourself.

2. Figure your monthly budget for everything Food, Bills, Clothing, etc.

3. Start simple, start collecting your coupons.

4. Then get all your sale papers in order go thru them and mark all items on sale that you will be purchasing check an see if the stores offer comp pricing ( that is where you can get it for the same price at another store) I know Walmart offers this program.

5. It always helps if you also get a list of items the store has and what aisle the items are on.

6. Check the stores coupon policy sometimes they will offer a day of the week when they double your coupons. Also some stores offer reward  cards( these are points you earn when you buy groceries and can use them on your next trip.

7. Start making a list of the items you will buy, Then go to your coupons to see if you have any that will match your sale items.

8. Once you have made up your list it's time to go shopping.  I always carry my binder to the store with me and each section of my book list each department. This helps me keep everything in order.

9. enjoy the savings. You will be surprised just how much money you will save and the items you can even get for free.

It's just my husband and I but food is still expensive. So I started couponing the last shopping trip I made I spent $743.58 when I was done checking out I almost fainted then the cashier started scanning my coupon and the total started going down when it was over I paid $123.68  so I ended up saving over 90% and alot of it I got for free. It does take some time to do this but its worth it in the long run. When you can get 4 months worth of groceries for 123.68 trust me it's worth it. I have a stock pile worth $2000.00 and I have also been able to help some of my family members out with alot of my free items....
