How to save money on your water and power bills..

This are some ways you can save money on your monthly bills.

1. The one thing I have started doing in my home is when I'm not using my washing machine or dryer I cut the breaker off to them.

2. Also when I'm not using my electric stove I cut the breaker off.

3. Unplug all small appliances when not in use.

4. Also when you are going somewhere whether it's  on vacation or just out of town for a few days cut the breakers off to very thing you can in your home.  Including your hot water heater.

5. Take showers as much as you can this uses less water and cuts down on power for the hot water .

6. Change all your Reg. light bulbs to one that use less power.

7. Put a piece of brick or a rock that is the size of your hand in the back of your toilet this way you will use half the water and it will save on your water bill.

8. When doing dish only cut your water after you have a sink full to rinse this also will cut down on your water bill.

9. Always keep you air set at 70 to 75 degrees and you heat the same. And if your going to be gone for a period of time cut it off.

My husband and I have been doing this for months and we only pay the minimum on our water which $21.00 and our power bill ranges from $50.00 to $70.00. Before I started this the water would run around $40.00 and the power was running over $150.00. This has really helped our budget.
I'm sure if you try this you will see a difference to. Good luck an may you save alot of money.
